I, The Eternal Lover

Its the season of mush and romance is in the air

Everything looks attractive and every girl appears so fair

I am the eternal lover who never met true love

I may look rough and rugged but I feel like a dove

I don't have great expectations, I just need a loving heart

who says, "I am all yours" till my new love sets us apart

Over the years, I have experienced love a number of times

However, music stops as soon as the wind stops blowing the chimes

I have always loved all the girls who are well endowed

somehow, they did not give me the love which they owed

I never gave up because I know that I am the eternal lover

sometimes, the flying sandals and stones made me duck for cover

I never gave up because I knew I will get true love and bliss

I just have waited patiently for that perfect 'Miss'

These are the very thoughts which occupied my mind

I bravely kept chasing love and went through daily grind

One fine day, I saw a Goddess of love, a true angel

she made my heart melt and looked perfect from every angle

I knew that this is the true love, the gift from the divine

I was madly in love with her by the time it was February nine

My heart kept telling me that everything is perfect,

this chick is great and needs to be given some respect,

I am also counting on my friend Cupid to make a perfect strike

I will curb my nature and will do everything that she like

I am the eternal lover who loves the spirit of Valentine

I am just a little confused about the perfect pickup line

It’s a case of true love and I am not going to leave anything to chance

I have borrowed from friends so that I can take her for dinner and dance

This is the first time that I have bought a gold ring

Although my heart ached at this mindless shopping bing

Love makes you do things and love is indeed crazy

Imagine me in the bathroom at 7am, me who is so lazy

I am the eternal lover who has found true love at last

I won’t be haunted by the numerous failures of the past

She is the one for me and this time I won’t cry and whine

I think I will take her in my arms and say, “wanna make you mine”

I am sure this will work because it has worked before

I am running out of patience and can’t wait much more

I am the eternal lover who will be happy this Valentine’s night

Finally I have met someone who is so perfect and right

So my friends fall in love because love is pure and bright

The bottomline is ‘true love makes the life a true delight.’
